15m coastal workboat project
A design for a general purpose twin screw workboat with 5 tonne bollard pull:
This vessel is equipped with 2 x 380 shp main propulsion engines, 6kva generator, hydraulic power pack for deck machinery and accommodation for two.
Harmony II refit project
This project has taken an Adriatic ferry built in 1954 and converted the ship into a Commercial Yacht. The following link will take you to the Official Harmony II web site:
Design study for a General Cargo ship
A design study for a 2000 ton general cargo ship for a UK based Shipowner.
The port restrictions limit the vessel to the following principal dimensions:
LOA 70.00m
Breadth 12.50m
Draft 4.20m
Within these constraints the Newbuild is designed to maximise the DWT at a 10 knot service speed.
To summarise the ship has at 4.2m draft and level trim:
Full load displacement .................2875 tonne
Anticipated DWT...........................2000 tonne
Anticipated lightship.......................875 tonne
Prismatc Coefficient.......................0.795
Block coefficient ...........................0.779
Midship area coefficient.................0.980
Waterplane area coefficient............0.878
Service speed................................10.5 knots.
Power ........................................800 kW
Powering Data
'KYE OKAN project'
A study for KYE on the transportation of a GAS Platform from Teesside to Nigeria was undertaken and included an analysis of the intact and damaged stability for the loaded barge, loadout ballasting and seakeeping analysis in support of the sea fastening design.
A demo of seakeeper can be found below. It shows a loaded 400ft/120m barge in an 11m sea

'Sea Surveyor'
Recently completed is the refit, conversion and stretch of the vessel 'Sea Surveyor' by Richards Dry Dock and Engineering. The Consultancy provided Naval Architectural services including hull definition, powering data, revised tankage data and the data for the new Stability Information Booklet.www.gardline.co.uk
'OGS Explora'
The above drawings are the hull definitions generated for the OGS Explora, work undertaken included stability analysis for a mobilisation requiring the placement of substantial Seismic DWt above the weather deck. An analysis was undertaken and after the mobilisation an Inclining experiment undertaken for the preparation and submission to Class of a New Stability Information Booklet.
